Hi Folk, below is a thread I put on Rate-Your-Solicitor.com. My interest in all this is to stop Child Abuse perpetrated by the State. I have no kids so I'm not afraid of the HSE, I'm not directly involved so I have no Gagging Orders to prevent me from speaking. All my life I have worked as a Problem Solver and believe me this is a problem I would love to tackle. I have the time and resources and I am involved with a group that is growing in numbers every day who want to sort this out once and for all. There are exciting developments happening in the background that will blow the lid off this National Disgrace that I would love to discuss but because I believe in Justice I don't want to do anything to influence the outcome of the case.
I've tried to get in contact with people affected by this issue but I find that some people are so damaged by the process, are bound by Gagging Orders by the Courts or threats and intimidation from HSE and Gardai that they will be back to take your kids. Given that there are currently 5300 Children in "Care" at the moment means that there are a potential 10,600 Parents out there who have a story to tell. Also given that in 184 Cases only 1 Parent is actually even charged with a Criminal Offence on the balance of probabilities that there are 183 Parents who are totally innocent yet they are subjected to the most inhumane abuses by the State. In the USA they figure that CPS only get it right in in less than 3% of Cases. There is strength in numbers and I believe that we need thousands of people involved in this to get any meaningful change to the System. Continued below.....

The fear of social services is what gives them their so called untouchable reputation. Why give them the power by being afraid of them? It's old school intimidation when they project the fear into you that your a bad parent etc, etc, if in your heart of hearts you know that you are a good parent then don't fear them. Times are changing, best advise I can give to anyone dealing with social workers, is to be open and honest if you are defensive they don't like it, though it is of course the first reaction of any one, I know been there, you have to work with them, regardless of weather you want to or not if they decide to open a case against you, no matter what the reason even if its utterly fictitious, or someone being malicious and trying to damage your life and well being. I left a very violent partner who beat me hospitalized me etc, and in in the end tried to murder me, and very nearly did, give or take a few inches... I called the cops and bamm, I'm the one being put in the firing line of the SS, times are changing though, I don't know if I believe that they work off the want in taking children? Anyway don't give them the upper hand by fearing them, ask them to help you and they will, cos that to me is their job, not destroying peoples lives, don't allow them to take that attitude with you, its against the law and called psychological intimidation and abuse of their position. The SS don't seem 2 take children off rich people or socialites, thats how utterly bendable I imagine some individuals r, there does however seem 2 be a new breed emerging, that r neither psychologically twisted, inbred r corrupted, r purely in2 their own glorification. I say that from my own life experiences, nobody removed me from the socalled care of the people who adopted me, after I was clearly from the start adopted 4 only 1 reason,2 be abused psychologically tormented, terrorized, sexually, ritually abused, turned in2 a guinea & groomed for suicide. I was clearly told as a toddler that if I told anyone the truth about being abused that I would be eaten. I don't know if I was ever a baby, I grew up with my eyes wide open, on another level of existence entirely, my life was a game 2 some people, thats all it is, 2 some people a game they play, abuse you, then see how far they can push you 2 the edge of sanity & reason, & try n' push you 2 suicide. I often wonder how many suicides are as a result of these games, especially in the young, so when I met some so called hot shot, cps person some years back, I thought 2 myself, I am right, it's all a sick joke! I know that 4 me, like that girl Sarah Bland, won't get justice, there r those out there who get off on the fact that they r above the law, but remember this, the cps are flesh & blood, not magical, immortal, or untouchable, the only power they have at the end of the day, is the power you let them have over your mind. Communication is key, being able 2 stand apart from the psychological manipulation they may or may not try, being able 2 voice it when u r not comfortable with whatever is happening, do not let them walk all over u. This said, hopefully the new breed of the SS will work 2 change people's seemingly justified impressions of them as child catchers, something evil & akin 2 witches, who will happily sacrifice ur happiness 2 bump up their numbers!

once children are involved in the care system that appears to be it,the children are gone no matter which family member or friend wants them once that paperwork starts the child becomes a name and number on a court case and that child will go into care,you cannot object or complain as you will be classed as uncooperative and wont see the child,if you show any emotion its seen as a weakness and inability to help the child, youre views are classed as unimportant as you are not a professional,the childs views are listened to as long as they are the same as the social worker in charge,anything else is classed as the child being too young,confused or too emotional.the children may as well be stuffed in envelopes and posted as long as its not to someone who cares about them.care system really is the wrong title for a system where feelings are a dirty word.

Edward Hernon, his daughter and her mother, -v- Ireland, the State and The Attorney General, the Minister for Health and the Department of Health, the Eastern Health Board, the Rotunda Hospital and Dr Moira Woods. Further to the 5 million euro Inquiry by the Fitness to Practise Committee of the Medical Council into the confirmed professional misconduct of Dr Moira Woods of the Rotunda Hospital it is expected that the Hernon case will be heard later this year in the High Court. A few weeks ago my partner and I had a row which unfortunately got physical (because I full of post pregnancy hormones attacked him). I am not proud of this and it has never happened before. My son came upstairs to see what the noise was and found my partner holding my arms and fending me off, concerned at what he thought was his mother being attacked he ran and called the police. They arrived, I told them what happened, my partner told them what happened and then they went into the lounge and asked my children if my partner had ever hurt them....... They of course told of any and every instance that had ever occurred where my partner had been involved in disciplining them (3 instances of lost temper, none of them resulted in smacks but maybe a close up shouting at with an arm held which I agree is scary enough)
So now the Social Worker has been to visit us all and because my son did not tell the social worker one of the things that he told the policeman, the SW is insisting on seeing my children alone because he thinks that my son was scared of my partner. I have obviously talked to my children at length and asked them why they did not disclose the same info - their reply was that they were scared that the SW would send their step dad away and that they did not want to upset him. I am terrified that this SW will wreck our life together. Despite how rubbish our homelife must seem due to the above incident, we are actually normally a happy loving, lower middle class family, we have had communication problems of late due to tiredness but who doesn't. Why are they trying to witch hunt my partner? I have smacked my own children from time to time so why aren't they coming after me? Should the policeman have spoken to my children without me present? I feel as if we are just easy prey.

where do you go to to complain about these people ive seen both sides of the coin foster mothers stressed been overcrowded social workers not doing their jobs proper leaving kids in danger and then the other side of the coin youngsters doing their best minding their child its fustreting where do i go to complain

Hi to all, as you can guess by my name I am friend of SS (UK), its always good to contribute to these forums, I don't be online often but I'll check back once in a while, anyway im just passing on the social worker chat room, I'm sure they would love a real heart to heart with any of the members in this forum, oh exceping they don't possess a heart. Im sure there are a few social workers who do a good job, its just that that one in a million is real hard to come by. Ive never actaull seen onother social worker in the chat, they are most probably having a nice cosy core meeting deciding how they can steal our kids, oh how they love their meeings, its a pity they coulnd'nt get a real job. ....have fun http://www.socialworkchat.org/chatroom/index.php

everyone is very quiet here lately does anybodt know why 2 socialworkers and a team leader got sacked in ormandquay before christmas i know they make serious mistakes hope they are not using this site for victims so hot goss let us know because normally yhey move on and terroise some other poor victim in other districts but there sacked
